You can still enquire about a date that is close; I’ll check availability and let you know what is possible. For a legal marriage in Australia, the Notice of Intended Marriage generally needs to reach an authorised marriage celebrant at least one month and no more than 18 months before the ceremony.

Yes. We can meet for a coffee or speak by video call. It is a chance to talk through the kind of ceremony you want, ask questions and see whether I feel like the right fit. There is no pressure to have every detail worked out.

Travel is included for Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Port Stephens, the Hunter Valley, the Central Coast and the Greater Hunter. Mid North Coast locations north of Port Stephens are available by enquiry, with any travel fee quoted before you book.

We’ll discuss the setting, dress code and any colours you would like me to wear or avoid. The aim is for my outfit to suit the ceremony and work with your plans rather than distract from them.

I’ll start by asking what you want the ceremony to include, how you would like it to feel and what you would rather avoid. For packages that include ceremony writing, I’ll prepare an early draft and we can revise it together until the wording and structure are right for you.

Yes. I support marriage equality and welcome couples and families of every background, identity and way of loving. We’ll agree on language and a ceremony structure that fit you.

A rehearsal is included with the Ultimate Wedding Package when it is required. We’ll discuss whether one would be useful as part of planning your ceremony.

Start by sending me your proposed date, location and preferred package. Once I have confirmed that I am available and the ceremony is suitable for that package, the non-refundable booking fee shown with your package secures the date. I’ll provide the applicable booking terms before you commit.

The payment schedule and balance due date will be set out in the written booking terms I provide before you commit. If your plans or timing are unusual, ask when you enquire so we can discuss them before the date is secured.

Contact me as soon as your plans change. Availability, travel and the booking terms agreed for your ceremony will determine what can be accommodated. A changed date or location is not confirmed until I have checked it and responded in writing. The published booking fee is non-refundable.

Legals Only includes a personally tailored ceremony, unlimited phone and email contact, lodgement of the required documents with Births, Deaths & Marriages and the commemorative certificate presented at the ceremony. I can also order the official registry-issued marriage certificate on your behalf, but you pay the separate BDM purchase fee.

What I provide depends on the package you choose. With the Ultimate Wedding Package, I arrive approximately 60 minutes before the ceremony, coordinate with the people and suppliers involved, handle the agreed ceremony equipment and music support, conduct the ceremony and complete the required marriage paperwork.

The timing depends on the package, the ceremony content and the people involved. We’ll discuss the likely duration while planning so you can coordinate it with your venue, photographer and the rest of the day.

The Ultimate Wedding Package includes a portable Bose PA, Bluetooth microphones and music playback. The Vow Renewal package includes a portable Bose PA system. We’ll confirm who is supplying and controlling the music while planning the ceremony.

Let me know as soon as you can. I’ll work through the practical changes with you and confirm what can be accommodated. A different date or location is not confirmed until I have checked my availability and any changed travel requirements.

The certificate presented at the ceremony is a commemorative certificate. The official marriage certificate is issued separately by the relevant Births, Deaths & Marriages registry and is generally the document needed as formal evidence of the marriage. Where included in your package, I can order it on your behalf, but the registry purchase fee is paid separately by you.
